Victorian 5.22ct Burma Ruby and Diamond Seven Stone Ring
This original late Victorian ring is resplendent with history and craftsmanship, showcasing three beautifully matched cushion shape antique cut Burma rubies(5.22ct), and further adorned with four diamonds set claws featuring four eight-cut diamonds (0.08ct) in platinum rubover settings. The pierced openwork gallery leads to tapering shoulders feature a chamfered edge shank in 18ct yellow gold, creating the beautiful illusion that the gemstones are floating upon the finger. The rubies are accompanied by a Gemmological Certification Services certificate no. 78157-41, stating they are Burma origin and are completely natural, with no heat treatment, making them a rare find today. Burma, or Myanmar, is a country that is renowned for its deposits of extraordinary gemstones. Finger size N.
