Bourton Country Shoe - Burgundy Burnished
Bourton is our iconic men’s country shoe. These handmade shoes are a piece of Tricker's Northampton shoemaking history, and yet today they are the go-to shoe for men all around the world. The Bourton is unmistakable - a heavy Derby shoe that bears the brogue detailing synonymous with true country shoes. A half bellows tongue is folded and attached to the shoe to provide a watertight seal, and the storm welt provides an additional watertight seal between the shoe's upper and sole. The profile of a Bourton is characteristically strong. The Description The Leather Calf leather is finer grained, and lighter in weight than the hide of older cattle. This means that it is also more supple. It is also very durable in comparison to its thickness. Need more help? Try our Live Chat . The Fit This last has been used for decades. The Sole The Dainite Sole - First designed in 1910, this is a rubber sole with large studs that provide grip - whilst not so traditional, they do provide good all-round grip and durability for most surfaces. Dainite products have been produced since 1894 in Market Harborough, England, near Northampton. The Dainite studded sole is one of the most widely known and used products, with its original design as valid today as it was in 1910. It provides grip and comfort in all conditions while not attracting or storing dirt as there are no cleats or heavy grooves to hold it. Need more help? Try our Live Chat .
