I've been looking for a fix for the slight shine i get on my t-zone (non- oily) for ages and this blot powder does just the job. If you get the right shade for your skin tone, it doesn't show up at all when applied after foundation. It's my new favourite make-up item. Wish I'd discovered it earlier! Great pressed powder that's light to wear and removes any shine I have been using this product for 3 years and it is amazing!!! I have only had to purchase the blot powder twice despite using it every day! For me it is not used as a powder foundation but instead when my face gets shiny during the day I simply use a face brush to remove any shine. It doesn't leave any streaky marks it actually makes the make up you already have on blend, removes all shine and looks like you have just put all of your make up on from fresh. Love love love it!!! as ive got oily skin, this is one of the best powders i have ever used, after applying on my foundation, i just use it as a finishing touch and it gives me that matte glow, makes the makeup look beautiful. So if you have oily skin and you are looking for that matte look, blotting powder is for you hunny :) I have been a huge MAC fan for a number of years and my collection of products is ever growing. I bought this powder to use with my studio fix fluid foundation because I felt I was still looking that bit too shinny. And I have to say for my skin this is a match made in heaven! It looks lovely on top of my foundation and complets the matte look that I am after. But be warned when ordering this my skin is NW15 in studio fix foundation go and look at the swatch and you will see I am very pale but I still needed to get the medium colour in this powder as the shades are a lot lighter than they look on here. Apart from that I am in love. :) Most "shine control" powders don't control my shine, especially on the t-zone area. This powder sets my foundation perfectly and controls my shine and moving of facial make up all day. I wouldn't go back after having this at all. This powder is really good, I'm so glad I bought it. I went out at the weekend and normally after a few hours my face goes really shiney but with this powder my face didnt go shiney at all. I'd highly recommend this. Shade Name: Medium Dark I have tried MANY powders to tame my super oily forehead and this is by far the best. I still have to blot or re-apply in the afternoon but for my oil slick that is amazing. For oil control it's definitely 5 stars from me. Reason I've only given 4 stars is that it does cling to any imperfections (fine hairs, dry skin etc) and it can leave a white cast so I had to go for a darker shade (I'm pretty fair - NW13 and need to use medium dark). Bought this product as I get oily throughout the day and needed something to retouch my makeup after a few hours. I bought it in the shade Medium Dark and it matches my medium coloured Indian skin so well!
