The scrub does get warm but doesn't last very long, the scrubbing head is great to get right in to the corners of the nose but the results were just underwhelming. For the price I really expected better. I do wish that there was the option to buy it without the head too as repeat buyers will be generating a lot of excess plastic. I think that you'd be no worse off using an exfoliating scrub in the shower, the effect would be the same and far cheaper. I'll keep the scrubbing head though. I was honestly shocked by all the bad reviews of this product because my experience has been the total opposite!!! I started using it a couple of weeks ago and saw amazing results from the very first use. I think the key is knowing how to use it. I apply a thin layer of the product to dry skin, then wet the applicator head under water and gently massage the area. You have to add water to activate the self-heating effect as it's what makes the formula work! Once I'm done with one section (like my nose), I rinse the tip under water again before moving to the next area. Working in sections really makes a difference. After using it this way, my face feels incredibly smooth and looks almost poreless, something I usually only get after a professional facial. It's gentle, easy to use, and gives visible results with no irritation. I honestly can't recommend it enough. Ignore the bad reviews, this product is completely fantastic when used properly! I honestly don't understand why this got so much hate because if used correctly works wonders, yes it isn't a miracle solution that will wipe away every clogged pore but over time it will make a difference. I cleaned my face, then steamed to open up my pores then I applied the blackhead cream, I left it on for a minute then removed. My last step was i wet my nose with warm water then applied a biorè pore strip. It worked a treat for myself and remember always close your pore before applying your moisturiser! Works great as an exfoliate. My skin hasn't been this smooth since I was a child (now in my 30s) but, I didn't buy it as an exfoliate. I bought it to help me and my 13 year old daughter with our blackheads. It's the first time I've bought this product and there's been no change to our pores after a few weeks using it. The self heating is great, but it only lasts for a few seconds then it's cold again, not even enough time to finish getting the product on the skin and wet it never mind massage it in. Also a very small tube for the price. Overall does not do what it says on the tin and if I'd read the reviews before buying I'd have bought the 7 day cleanse/ scrub instead. I love how this heats up on your skin, opening the pores, then you massage with the textured lid to remove the impurities and blackheads. I use it 2-3 times a week and it really works. This product hardly heats and does not extract blackheads. It only makes your skin feel softer but this is not what I wanted to spend my money on! Very poor design. Bought this for my daughter having tried less expensive products. Noticed the dramatic difference within a week. Huge improvement! I have tried various different products to try and get rid of the blackheads on my nose and my chin and this is the only thing that has actually worked. You can feel the product heat up and the extractor head is great for working the product into your skin. I have only used it twice, but I can clearly see a different on my skin already.
