In my 50's and going through the menopause, skin became 'confused', dry patches but also visible pores/blackheads with outbreaks of big red painful spots which never had a 'head'. Have used everything from 'luxury' cleansing balms from other well known premium brands to soap and water but nothing worked. Decided to give Clinique a try and ordered online, was a little nervous, would this product be too 'drying' for my sensitive confused skin? Best choice I've made in a long time, this product is gentle enough for everyday morning and evening, my skin is looking the clearest it's done in months without drying out. I'm still getting the odd spot but I find they clear up quickly if I dab a bit of product on and use as a mask just on the spot. Very happy. I was very sceptical about another blackhead reducing product, but have to say I'm impressed. A little bit goes a long way and after first use my pores were visibly shrunk and my skin has a wonderful soft feel and glow. I have used this last two weeks, my face looks really clean and glowing. I had so many blackheads and uneven skin, its all disappearing. Also my skin feel soft no dryness at all. I am 35 and half way through my second pregnancy, my skin has been horrific, lots of breakouts and nothing really seemed to help. I thought I'd give this facial wash a go because I love Clinique.. if you suffer from break outs, big pores and blackheads then buy this facial wash. I usually have big under the skin spots which are painful, this helped to clear them up super fast and without bringing the spot to a white head. I've been issuing this facial wash for about 3-4 months & i love it!! I received this as a sample with my latest order. I have really dry skin and I didn't think that this would be suitable. However, at 55 my pores are getting more and more noticeable so I tried this as a mask for 5 minutes.....WOW! My skin looked refined and my lines and pores were far less noticeable . It also didn't leave my skin feeling tight as many refining masks do. I would highly recommend this as a weekly boost whatever your skin type - I will be buying the full size as soon as I finish the sample tube. I feel like you need to use this for more than 7 days but oh my god it is amazing!!! If you keep at it it will work. It has cleared my skin up so so much and at first it wasn't noticeable but now after using it for a few weeks it is amazing. I have only been using this for 2 months and already I see a great difference. No blackheads and pores minimised. Really good, cost effective and fast results I usually use the pep start 2in1 face scrub but when they discontinued the instant perfector from the pore refining solutions range I knew I had to step up my game plan! Combined with the correcting serum I purchased this scrub has greatly reduced the appearance of the pores around my nose. I use the scrub twice a day and maybe once a week as a mask, I would definitely recommend as well as the serum which is a great base before applying makeup. I've only used this twice, once as a mask and once as a scrub and it looks and feels amazing! I can see less blackhead on my nose which I struggle with and my face feels really refreshed and clean.
