I used to buy the Cleansing Bar for my teenage son who suffered quite badly from spotty facial skin One bar used to last 6/12 months. This does the job, however only lasts about 3 months Not hard to see why Clinique discontinued the solid cleanser! This is my favourite face wash from the Clinique range but it's currently out of stock :( Great gel for using with the sonic brush. Changed my skincare routine and have never looked back. I've been using the anti blemish range for nearly 2 years now. My skin wasn't getting better and I think it was due to cliniques cleanser and toner. Yes my face felt clean after using this and took my makeup off (which is why I've used it For so long) but actually looking at the ingredients I can already see a bunch of highly stripping ingredients which is gonna strip your face off it's natural oils, causing your face to try produce more oils leading to worse acne. The toner that comes with this in the 3 step regime is highly stripping also! Yes it might make your face feel clean but you are causing a lot of damage to your skins natural moisture barrier. I would look for a cleanser with more gentle ingredients. For the price it is I just don't think Clinique need to use such stripping alcohols and ingredients. We appreciate your feedback regarding our Anti-Blemish 3 step system. This system is designed for a skin that is frequently breaking in a combination of blackheads and whiteheads and also more pimples and pustules/or painful sore breakouts. You can custom fit these products to the condition of your skin and the frequency of your breakouts too. Along side this you can then also apply additional products for any dryness and dehydration too. I bought the cleansing foam and it dried my skin so much so I tried this and I'm never buying any other cleaner ever again !!! Saw a difference in less than a week! Love this product and would 100% recommend it! It doesn't dry my skin out and works even better with the sonic brush. Nice texture and no harsh smell. Recently changed to this after years of using the mild liquid facial soap and this has been a game changer. I've seen a dramatic difference in my skin within just a few days and blemishes disappear as quickly as they come. Nice texture, no harsh smell and most importantly doesn't dry out my cheeks like other treatments for spot prone skin. I love this cleansing gel. A little goes a long way and it lathers perfectly and leaves my skin feeling so clean and soft. It doesn't irritate or burn my skin like most cleansing gels do nor does it dry my skin out or make it feel tight and sore. It is a fantastic cleanser which I highly recommend. I have very sensitive skin, so much so that even products made for babies tends to sting and burn my skin. This cleanser is so kind to my skin, it's simply fantastic. I use most of the Clinique Anti-Blemish products which are all amazing. I don't have acne or particularly bad skin but I tend to get one or two spots that break out once a month. The anti-blemish treatments from Clinique have kept those at bay and my overall skin tone and complexion has greatly improved and I am blemish free throughout the "once a month" ordeal too, lol. I can't recommend these products highly enough, they are fantastic and I wouldn't be without them now. Thanks Clinique. This had some great reviews so I had high hopes that it would be suitable for me. On opening my package and reading the ingredients I was disappointed to find that it contained sodium laureth sulphate which I avoid whenever possible. It would be helpful if Clinique would list ingredients like many other brands do on their websites as this would prevent us ordering something unsuitable. I will re-order the Anti-Blemish Foam cleanser which I have used in the past and which I should have ordered instead of the gell. Been struggling with acne for 7yrs and if I knew this was available my skin would be so much better. Sonetimes stings if you have a really bad spot but that means it's working.
