I do like this foaming cleanser. a little goes a long way, however, as other reviewers have stated, I still prefer the cleansing BAR! PLEASE bring it back! (the 3 little soaps with one dish were great for travel) Extremely disappointed in the lack of transparency. For months Clinique staff promised the Facial Soap Bars were returning, only to finally admit they are discontinued. It feels like a calculated move to keep customers from stocking up and force us toward unwanted alternatives. I have used this product since 1985 but I'd rather switch brands than be misled. I've used this product for a while now and love it. I've changed products over the years but keep going back to this one. I'm not one for using a lot of face products so this is a great all round cleanser and face wash. Doesn't strip my natural oils, but enough to leave my skin feeling soft and hydrated but clean. My skin is combination, so works well. Lovely creamy texture with a great smell. You don't need to use much so it lasts. Makes my skin feel squeaky clean, love how it takes everything off. In fact I could not live without it!! I used to have quite poor skin but now it is clear and not only feels nice but I have had people comment on how lucky I am to have such soft, clear skin on my face. It is particularly good at removing makeup but I use it every night whether I have worn makeup or not. I've now used this product for many years. It left my skin feeling like I'd just used a plain old bar of soap from the supermarket. My skin felt stripped of everything, it felt tight and had that awful filmy feel afterwards. The 'lather' was simply a thick condensed foam. When drying my face after extensively rinsing, I was left with make up smears on the towel. My eye make up was not removed and it stung my eyes. They were closed. Not a good product and I was not encouraged to buy this fashwash. I have used this product for many, many years and love it, like all the Clinique products. Love this cleanser. It gives a squeaky clean feeling however very gentle and does not dry out skin. I have an oily combination skin type and this cleanser helps to balance it and keeps the pores very clean. I would highly recommend to try it, Having used 3-Step for 27 years, and now being 51 and work requires I commute into the smoky city, I've been feeling there's something missing… Found it!
