So, I stopped wearing foundation back in 2020 (think we all know why), I had been using bareminerals previously, but I wanted to try this, looked ideal for my skin! So, after (honestly) hours & hours of online virtual try-on, "shade matching" from another brand (which doesn't work, btw... MAC have entirely different definitions of "warm/cool" etc than other brands! I've learned this since finding my shade).. Anyway, I ordered shade NW22, it seemed to be a bit too dark for me, but the try-on, shade matcher & everything INSISTED. I wore it to a wedding, took a selfie, and had to run to the bathroom 🤣 - I was orange!! When I got home, I went to a counter, and I'm actually an NW18, SO - just a few shades out, then! But, in all honesty - this didn't put me off! I could have gone to a counter to begin with, but, with ADHD, I cannot *bear* going to the shops, it's the last thing I'd ever want to do! But I'm pleased I did! Now that I've got NW18, it's a perfect match. It covers my pores & mattifies my skin, it also helps to even out my skin tone & to brighten it. I only want light coverage, and this foundation offers that, but it's also buildable! I've found my go-to foundation now, I know I'll stick with this (I can't bear liquid foundations... and, I'm still baffled as to why my shade is so different in the liquid compared to this?! E.g., NW18 vs NW10 in liquid?! - I'm also a shade light 010 in KVD, but this says I should be using NC15... I don't trust the brand match. At all!) Final note / TL;DR: Amazing foundation! Works to cover tonnes of issues, is totally buildable, doesn't cake, stays put, love it!! Shade Name: C35 During the pandemic I hated seeing foundation stains on my masks and so I began experimenting with powder foundation. I absolutely loved how natural it looks about 5 minutes after application, once it meshes with my natural oils. This is the perfect no makeup makeup product on the market. It lasts really well, blurs my pores, and has a satin finish! I use a big powder brush to apply this if I want natural/minimal coverage, and a denser buffing brush if I want full coverage. I will continue to repurchase this product forever. Please don't change it! Shade Name: NC27 Nothing comes close to this. I have tried every influencer recommended foundation out there. Shade Name: NC55 Along my journey on trying to find the best match for my skin, combination skin, I happened to fall upon this beauty, through many research, trials and testing of other products. The NC55 Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation is a perfect match for my skin tone and I have no oily breakouts wearing this foundation. I don't need to put a lot on as I'm mainly wearing it to even out the area around my mouth, I take the residue and place it on the T-zone area. Honestly I can't tell I'm wearing anything. If you have ever struggled with foundation always being just too pink or orange then this is probably what you are looking for. Like Armani luminous silk shade 6 but way better! Shade Name: N4.5 Love this foundation, I think this will be my new favourite ever! I took a gamble by ordering for the first time online whilst the colour matching service wasn't working, I compared shades of other foundations I have with online swatches and went with n4.5. It is a perfect match to my super fair skin colour. It feels very light on but gives good coverage and doesn't settle in the fine lines around my eyes. I just use moisturiser as a base and the Mac setting spray over the top and after spending most of the day outside in 32 degree+ heat, my make up hadn't budged. I have dry-ish skin so was a bit concerned as the description specifies good for oily skin types, but it feels perfect for me. A little goes a long way, so I feel like this will last me a long time.
