I was recommended this by staff at my local store. I am completely converted from my BeautyBlender. It doesn't absorb foundation and blends like a dream, I have problems getting to small areas with it but I have the same issue with all foundation brushes. Im purchasing another so I have a backup. Ive got dry skin and dont always cleanse so I dread when I gotta wear foundation. It blends like a dream, no streaky marks and well worth the money. I 100% recommend this brush it's amazing it gives you full coverage without being cakey and it barley needs any foundation to do so. I used to only use a beauty blender, haven't used it since I got this brush. Whilst the price is high it is 100% worth it although for the price the packaging the brush come in could be better as it only comes in a plastic bag with a clear cover for the brush tip to keep it in place. Even if your down to your last drops of foundation this brush will still allow you to do your whole face. This is by far the best foundation brush I have ever purchased from mac, and I have had them all. Works very well with every liquid foundation I own and not a single fallout I bought this brush recently as a little treat for myself and safe to say I absolutely love it - feels like a dream and blends out amazingly! BUT the actual brush head is quite small so it does take a little bit longer to do your full face, but its worth it! I think this is a good brush however it seems to work better with full/heavier coverage better than light coverage, takes up alittle more product than i was told it would but still less than other brushes ive tried. Feels nice during application. I bought this brush together with MAC foundation. Overall the foundation is applied easily with this brush and the brush does it's job. However, the hair started getting loose and being able to off from the tube after limited times washing...I wish it is more secured for it's value. Rather upsetting. I love Mac brushes and practically all of their make up products (absolutely loving the advent calendar for 2020 .. truly amazing 👏 ) The 170 brush however has only disappointed me. I was so excited by the design. Id got a demo in store last year and my husband bought me last Christmas. I only started using it about 4 months ago and I feel I've barely used it and its just breaking apart. I always look after my brushes well but today when trying to clean it I just ended up giving up and binning it as its just falling apart. Really disappointing as I normally associate high quality with Mac and although this is a beautifully visioned product the quality in production is just not there:( Hi Wendy, we’re so sorry to hear about your 170s brush.
